Full-time | Thursday–Sunday

We’re looking for a full-time chef to join our small team at Grace.

And we’re pretty open about what that looks like.

​

You might be a chef de partie ready for your next step, a sous chef looking for a great little kitchen, or a head chef who wants to take the reins. We’re more interested in finding the right person than putting a particular title on the job.

Grace is a small, independent, hatted restaurant in Rutherglen, built around good food, great wine and making people feel bloody welcome.

​

You’ll work across Thursday to Sunday, including both lunch and dinner services. It’s a hands-on role in a small kitchen, so you’ll need to be comfortable getting stuck in, working as part of a team and caring about the details.

We’re looking for someone who:

Has solid commercial kitchen experience.

Takes pride in what they put on a plate.

Is calm, organised and reliable.

Works well in a small team.

Gives a shit about good food and good service.

Wants to contribute ideas, not just follow instructions.

Is happy to get stuck into all aspects of kitchen life.​

 

The role can be tailored to the right person — Chef, Sous Chef or Head Chef.

​
